Sexual health patient education and resources

Your comprehensive evaluation will include:

  • Assessment by a Gynecologist with specialized training in Reproductive Endocrinology who will review and discuss your medical history, perform a physical examination, and order diagnostic testing (i.e. ultrasound, hormone levels) as indicated.
  • Assessment by a Psychiatrist who will conduct a psychiatric evaluation with a special focus on sexual functioning, sexual well-being and relational issues
  • Assessment by a Certified Sex Therapist who will review medical concerns in conjunction with emotional and relationship factors with you to assess current levels of sexual functioning, focusing on goals for optimal functioning and treatment planning.
  • Assessment by a specially-trained Physical Therapist who will gather information on pain or other physical symptoms related to your concern.  A physicial assessment may also be performed to check for tenderness, tightness, or other physical issues that could be interfering with sexual wellness.

The entire evaluation will take approximately 2 hours to complete. Because we value your time, we ask that you complete the questionnaires and forms found on our website prior to your visit.  Once your initial evaluation is completed, our team will meet to discuss our findings and develop a treatment plan.  Your treatment plan will be discussed with you at your follow-up visit.

Some or all portions of our services may not be covered by insurance.  If your insurance does not cover sexual health services, please call us to learn more about our affordable pricing options.

We realize that sexual health education is an integral component of the treatment process for our patients.

As a result, we aim to educate our patients with factual and current information. In addition, we encourage patients to ask questions and actively participate in this process.
