WSU Family Medicine at Crittenton Highlighted in BCBSM Video

What does it really mean to have a patient-centered medical home for your medical care? In this video, the Hempstead family and their doctor, Marie Mateo, MD, share their experiences and describe a more personal approach to care.

This video created by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan highlights the WSU Family Medicine practice in Rochester on the campus of Crittenton Hospital.

WSU Family Medicine at Crittenton received the Patient-Centered Medical Home designation from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in 2011. The designation from the insurer goes only to family practice physicians, pediatricians and internists who implement specific policies and procedures that place patients at the center of health care decision-making.
