At WSUPG’s Division of Endocrinology, diabetes care and management is our specialty. Our patients receive comprehensive care including evaluation and management by highly qualified specialists including endocrinologists, cardiologists, pulmonogists, podiatrists, nephrologists, psychologists, certified diabetes educators and registered dieticians. These experienced clinicians are chosen for their expertise in addressing the needs of patients with diabetes.
We focus on teaching patients the latest diabetes management techniques in nutrition, weight management, physical activity, medications, blood glucose monitoring and insulin delivery. Diabetes is a common disease, yet every patient needs unique care. Our physicians and staff at the WSUPG diabetes clinic understand that diabetes "takes no vacation," and we give our patients the tools they need to stay healthy and handle any situation they might encounter in their daily lives.

All of our diabetic patients go through American Diabetes Association (ADA) approved standard diabetes education, work one-on-one with a dietician, learn skills such as carb counting and continuously increase their knowledge and understanding of effective diabetes management.
